On Saturday, December 6, 2025, during its annual Christmas Social weekend, the Germany Alumni Chapter (GAC) of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. proudly chartered the first international Silhouette Chapter in Heidelberg, Germany.

The historic ceremony was graced by national leadership, including National Silhouette President Scedella Gregory and two past National Presidents, Theresa Foster and Janice Hall Dean, underscoring the significance of this moment for the Silhouettes and the fraternity at large.

This new chapter formally organizes the wives and widows of GAC members, who for years had gathered informally and coordinated efforts toward this goal. Their dedication and unity now stand recognized with official charter status.

The Germany Alumni Chapter itself holds a special place in fraternity history, having been established on June 3, 1964, as the first alumni chapter chartered outside the continental United States. The addition of the Silhouette Chapter continues this tradition of pioneering leadership and international brotherhood.
